On top of the extra three years of postgraduate study that it takes to be an orthodontist we never stop studying, researching, teaching and talking about orthodontics. However, technical knowledge alone is not enough. We’re experts at caring for our patients, too. We take the time to ensure that you understand your treatment options and that you know what to expect along the way. Working alongside our orthodontists, our team of specialised dental hygienists will care for and support you at every appointment, as well as in-between.
As testament to our expertise and care, we regularly treat entire families and are often take care of the children and grandchildren of past patients. Over the past three-decades we have treated thousands of patients. This includes many dentists, as well as other orthodontists (and their own families) who have come to us for their orthodontic care. It’s never too soon to see an orthodontist if you have concerns for your, or your child’s, dental wellbeing. We generally advise a check-up at around 7 or 8 years of age—by this age we can start to understand if, and what, treatment may be needed which gives you the chance to plan ahead.
